DESCRIPTION:Did you know that there are over 400 species of birds found in Illinois? This program teachers participants some basic facts about birds\, including the parts of a bird and what they eat\, as well as what migration is. The program also includes an introduction to the birds we see in our backyards in Illinois\, fun facts about each bird\, and audio of their distinct songs. Participants will take home directions and supplies needed for a simple\, make-your-own birdfeeder they can hand in the yard to keep birds in their view. \nRegister here.
